Effective Date: January 1, 2023

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of C. Aurora Paving’s website and services. By accessing or using our website, or agreeing to our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

1. Services Provided

We offer a range of services including, but not limited to:

  • Asphalt consulting
  • Site inspections
  • Paving services
  • Pavement repair and maintenance
  • Excavating and grading
  • Base work

The specific services we provide will depend on your project requirements, which will be outlined in your contract or quotation.

2. Payment Terms

  • Residential Projects: For homeowner residential projects, a deposit is required, which may be paid via credit card, check, or e-transfer.
  • Other Projects: For commercial, industrial, or municipal projects, payment is due within 30 days of completion. Signed quotations are required for approval before work begins.
  • Late Fees & Penalties: In case of late payments, the client must refer to the contract or invoice for any penalties or additional fees. If no specific penalties are outlined in the contract, the standard legal remedies will apply.

3. Project Timelines & Client Responsibilities

  • Timelines: Project timelines vary depending on the size and complexity of the work. Residential projects may take as little as one day, while larger commercial or municipal projects may take several days or weeks.
    • For projects requiring base work, there may be a waiting period before the pavement can be laid to ensure the foundation sets properly, resulting in a longer-lasting surface.
  • Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for ensuring the construction area is cleared of obstructions such as vehicles or debris before work begins. We will consult with you to ensure proper preparation.
    • Property Issues: If you are unsure about any property-related issues that may affect the project (e.g., drainage or underground utilities), we will guide you to the best of our ability to help identify these issues.

4. Cancellation Policy

Once a contract is signed, cancellation is not permitted. This is because we reserve time and resources specifically for your project and may turn down other work to accommodate your timeline.

5. Environmental & External Factors

While we strive to ensure the highest quality work, external factors may impact the longevity and performance of pavement surfaces, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
  • Traffic wear and tear
  • Drainage issues
  • Natural occurrences (e.g., sinkholes)

We will consult with you on best practices to ensure the longest-lasting surface, but we cannot guarantee protection against all external factors.
